The social sip

"Sip. Smile. Share."

Project goal:

Craft a bold and playful visual identity for The Social Sip ,a café concept centred around the social and expressive spirit of coffee culture. The aim was to design a brand that feels lively and engaging, while still staying clean and cohesive, using a stripped-back palette to let personality shine through.

Design decisions:

The brand centres around connection, captured through its tagline “Sip. Smile. Share.” and brought to life with a series of animated mascot expressions that reflect a full range of moods. Rather than using static or traditional coffee visuals, the concept leans into movement, character, and a cheeky sense of humour.

A monochrome colour palette adds structure and flexibility, while a custom typeface amplifies the friendly tone of voice. From logo variations and packaging to merchandise and social content, each piece was designed to leave a strong impression and spark conversation.
